On July 17&18, 2024, a collaborative program involving REACH, Yayasan Sime Darby, the Cameron Highlands District Forestry Department, Majlis Biodiversity Pahang, Perhilitan Pahang, Majlis Daerah Cameron Highlands, Pelindung, and students from SK Terisu successfully conducted a forest tree planting event at the Batu Ganggan Forest Reserve, Cameron Highlands.
During the event, 1,350 forest tree saplings were planted, including species such as Minyak Beruk, Gerok, Medang, Euginia, and Kelat Paya.
This initiative is part of @yayasansimedarbyofficial Yayasan Sime Darby Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to the Greening Malaysia Programme, with hopes that their efforts will continue in the future to raise awareness of the importance of preserving and conserving nature.
A heartfelt thank you to Yayasan Sime Darby Malaysia for their dedication to supporting the Tree Planting Campaign.
